A hand-painted watercolor rendering of the home makes a charming, personalized gift for a birthday, anniversary, house-warming, wedding or just as a well-deserved treat for yourself!
This treasure becomes a cherished family keepsake and conversation piece and gives a great deal of pleasure long after other gifts have faded away.
All of Jill's paintings are "Designed with Love". Your
finished home portrait is hand-painted in watercolor and watercolor
pencil on 140 lb. acid-free paper.
Photos - As in the photos above, we begin with a few simple photos taken of your home from different angles, and one photo depicting the overall image of your home. (For tips on capturing the essential elements of your home in photos - click here.) Jill is available to take photos of the home for an additional fee.
Description and Portrait Size - Describe the home in your own words, as you envision the portrait. You might want to emphasize certain features, like flowers at the entrance, under windows, architectural enhancements and details, etc. You also need to decide on the size of the finished portrait. See Sizes and Pricing below.
Artist at work - With the photos and your loving description in-hand, Jill creates a preliminary work sketch for your review. When you approve the work sketch, work on creating the final painting begins.
Sizes and Pricing - The specification and costs listed below are for unmatted, unframed original designs. The suggested mat / frame size is offered to guide you in making your size selection.
